The market price of isobutyraldehyde increased from 8466.67 yuan/ton at the beginning of the month to 8850 yuan/ton at the end of the month, an increase of 4.53%, with a year-on-year increase of 18% at the end of the month. The upstream raw material market prices have significantly increased, and due to the impact of supply and demand, the support for the price of new pentanediol has increased.

In the future, the overall trend of the new pentanediol market in mid to early March may experience slight fluctuations and gains. The upstream isobutyraldehyde market has seen a significant increase, with increased cost support. The downstream paint market is average, and downstream procurement enthusiasm has weakened.
